What I’m Up to Now

 

We bought a house in a small mountain village in southern Bulgaria near the border with Greece in 2020.  The area is a lot like southern Appalachia both in appearance and climate (think Ashville, NC).

I’m still coaching online, and recently, my wife Irina has been doing more work on the marketing side of my business as well as taking on her own clients independently in diet and strength coaching for women approaching or in menopause.

Christopher, who I officially adopted in 2021, is now 13 years old and is killing it in school.  He hopes to attend the math and technology high school in Smolyan, the nearest “city” where we do our grocery shopping.

We’re focusing on a life that involves a good amount of walking in the mountains with our Posavac Hound Ginger, exercise, and healthy living in general.  Most recently, we’re been nerding out on longevity, as I just turned 50.

Irina’s has become quite the gardener, and we enjoy the fruits of her labor (pun intended) nearly all year long.
