“clarity and structure”
I have been working with Paul for a while now. He helped me a lot to get some clarity and structure into various areas of life. He is easy to work with and fun to talk to.
With his life experience he has an example, a book recommendation, a good contact to talk to etc. for everything I can think of!
I can highly recommend Paul to anybody who is looking for advancement in life and/or business.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“a life changing experience”
I had the pleasure of partnering with Paul Strobl for life coaching. It has been a life changing experience. I have worked with counselors and coaches in the past, but his approach truly worked best for me.
He is able to carefully listen and pick the best tools that improve my cognitive reasoning and decision management. He shared books and articles after sessions that helped solidify these concepts. He is also very personable and kind and feels like talking to a wise friend.
I frequently reflect back on things I learned from him along the way. I wish him the best in his endeavors, he is passionate about what he does and great at it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“major breakthroughs”
Paul is really wonderful to talk to and gave me a lot of mentorship and guidance as I moved across the country to find and take on a new career opportunity. He also helped me to reframe and refocus my personal relationships with my parents and my partner, and give me a number of tools and techniques in order to be able to respond to negative circumstances with a focus on positive growth.
Investing in myself by hiring Paul to help me to reach higher goals and make major breakthroughs was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Paul can help you to get to where you want to be.
Frequently Asked Questions about Executive Coaching
What is Executive Coaching?
Executive Coaching helps align your professional goals with the your personal vision; an-ongoing process of taking you from where you are today to where you want it to be in the future.
The job of the executive coach is to help resolve professional bottlenecks through active listening, personal development, management & communication guidance, and to act as a sounding board for executives.
How does it work? How much does it cost?
Coaching sessions are about an hour and there may be recommended “homework” consisting of exercises, books or websites to help with specific areas that you are stuck to help with business or personal development issues.
Hourly rate varies between $250 and $350 per session depending on the scope of the project, and includes unlimited emailing and texting Monday through Friday.
How long does an Executive Coaching engagement last?
The length of a coaching engagement can vary depending on goals and scope. I recommend beginning with 90 days as it can sometimes take a bit of time for the coaching process to get traction. For some clients, this is all that is needed. For others, they opt for a monthly or quarterly check-in after having key breakthroughs to make sure they stay on track for long-term personal or career goals. Some of these clients have been with me for over a decade.
How is the Executive Coaching Process structured?
We establish goals within a framework customized to your personal and professional vision. These goals are revisited along with current issues that are getting in the way.
As mentioned above, coaching sessions are about an hour and there may be recommended “homework” consisting of exercises, books or websites to help with specific areas that you are stuck to help with business or personal development issues.
Progress is evaluated on a monthly basis.
What if I'm international? Can I still work with you?
My booking system makes it easy to find a time that works, and we can use an alternative communication platform/software if cell phone access is difficult or costly.
How do I pay?
Alternatively, you can mail a check – my retired CPA on staff (aka “Dad”) absolutely loves depositing business funds into my local Houston account.
What if it doesn't work?
We keep going as long as our work together is adding value. If there’s no value, there’s no point in continuing the coaching engagement.
How do I prepare for my sessions?
Make sure you’re in a private place with no distractions. Let family or co-workers know that you will be unavailable and please set your phone to “Do Not Disturb” mode.
Can I skip a session?
Can I reschedule a session?
What can I expect during a trial session?
I’ll take some time to understand where you are and where you want to be on both a professional and personal level.
You’ll learn how I work and what I do as an executive coach and we’ll determine whether we’re a good fit for working together.
I view this as a mutual interview – I’m not the coach for everyone, and I can’t add value to every situation. There is no charge for a trial session.
Does Coaching by phone really work?
When talking about sensitive issues where you may feel vulnerable, not being seen helps us to get to the heart of the issue faster and with less discomfort.

“I still draw on those conversations on an almost daily basis”
During a particularly challenging career change, my boss realized I was “sprinting a marathon” and thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of a career/life coach. Turns out it was a great decision. Paul Strobl gave me the outlet to really talk about the challenges I was facing – and not just the ones at work – and bring to the surface the fears that were impeding the risks I would normally take to drive change.
I still draw on those conversations on an almost daily basis and appreciate Paul keeping in touch to help me ‘recharge my batteries.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“like talking with an old friend”
My experience with Paul was amazing! He is insightful, intelligent, humorous, and pleasant. His coaching skills are excellent – the sessions are just conversations, but before you know it you have come to a realization or a decision about an action seemingly without effort. Speaking with Paul is like talking with an old friend, who just happens to be an amazing coach!
I highly recommend taking the time to contact him and have a conversation.
